Prince of Persia : Shadow and Flame

Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame is a remake of the 1994 Prince of Persia 2, developed by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft for mobile platforms. The game was announced by Ubisoft July 3, 2013 and was released on iOS and Android devices on July 25, 2013.

The rebirth of the legendary action-platformer, with brand-new visuals and controls redesigned to fit your device. Set after the events of Prince of Persia Classic, Prince of Persia The Shadow and the Flame continues the saga of the wanderer who was born a Prince. Now he must embark on an epic journey in search of his past that will redefine his future!

Project Development


Part of the 6-member core development team that established the project from the ground up. The game obtained a 4/5 rating on iOS and Android game stores, as well as on game critic websites. It was honored as the Best Mobile Game of the Year-2013 by FICCI and received the People’s Choice award from NASSCOM.

  • Creating and iterating with various gameplay prototypes with designers. Setting up benchmark for designers and artist on light and object placement in one scene.
  • Implemented Input handing framework for Gesture, Virtual Joystick and Touch + Gamepad inputs. Created 3D, interactive UI for shop and inventory menu.
  • Integrated IAP purchase item in the game.
  • Implemented monetization flow with cross promotional ad and flurry ad integration
